Having not been on the KS forums all that much, I missed out on some concept art that was posted there. I kinda like to start a thread with all the official concept art that has been released. This way they can be seen by anybody checking this website out. If the Devs have a problem with that feel free to take it down, but until then; here's some Mentaru Shoujo Concept Art.

EDIT: Try to keep quoting images to a minimum. Only quote the ones you're interested in if you quote at all. Certainly don't quote the entire post. Thanks.

Now you've gone and done it.

Though I think it's all pretty neat. Even though Agatha's art is unrealistic, it still appeals to me for some reason. I can already imagine some funny moments with Katja. Stealing random important documents from the principal's office without even realizing it, and suddenly the vending machines are removed from the premises as a result, and nobody knows why.

Of course, I am Useless Annoying Forum Member, and I have no experience with art. So take anything I say with a grain of salt.

I, for one, welcome the oncoming /a/wesome onlookers.

We can't release details yet, but please note that we're taking great lengths to avoid even slightly exploitative situations with the girls. And 'mentally disabled' sounds more harsh a word that what it describes.

The thread is already gone. Barely anyone talked about it. A few people thought it was cool that Freud was there, one or two thought it was a terrible idea because "they/their friend/their family/x person they knew has soandso problem, and so this game is terrible."

There was mostly the standard "They need to do it perfectly right, which they aren't capable of doing" posts which everyone is probably used to by now.

Mhm, I see. Well, thanks for replying anyway! Don't worry-- although many people have talked about how it's in poor taste and we aren't good enough to do it well, the same things were said about Katawa Shoujo. We won't let what they say get to us!

I love these characters!!!

They already have personality and I can see something of a story for each of them, I can't wait to see more.

Imperial.standard would be happy to hear that, he's the one who drew those characters. Hopefully we'll have some more art soon. I'm glad you're excited about the project.

Also, this just reminded me of this. Please don't quote entire image filled posts. Try to comment without quoting if you can, or do what MrBackpack did and quote only the pictures you're interested in. I don't want a lot of clutter in this thread. Thanks Cool

The one character I have major qualms with is the suicidal character. Her story will be the hardest to make not cliche. Tread very carefully. The other characters look good though even if the female art needs to be improved a bit.

Actually, I figured out how we were supposed to find him. It's a little roundabout, but it's really not all that bad. You don't even need my l33t h4x, it's all public information. And it definitely uses FB, no google, kongregate, etc. needed. So far MrBackpack has gotten the closest.
